Today had confirmations of truths learned along with new learning. See the beauty in all continues to be my practice and I am encouraged to do so. And this 2 1/2 year road trip, 97,000 miles driven, 386+ Natl Park Service Units, Natl Forests, Hot Springs, State Parks, and natural wonders has allowed me to behold the beauty and creations of Mother Earth and her 2- and 4-legged inhabitants. I hope this quote is true:
I become that which I behold. -Blake
A Mind Valley interview with Neale Donald Walsch who wrote Conversations With God, revealed a new practice for me to apply relating to God’s statement, “I am that I am. This to be my comment to myself when I observe a beggar, a homeless person, a drug addict, an irate driver or tailgater, litter, to say, “I am that (each and every observed condition) , I am. Point being that we are all one, so I, too, am the beggar, etc – brings compassion for me and all beings.
Sedona and Flagstaff have kept me busy, and cooler than I would be in Scottsdale. Chapel of the Holy Cross, Montezuma Well, and Flagstaff arboretum have brought me joy and cooler, bearable temperatures-thanks be!
