Do we not get the message? Adults demonstrate their lack of respect on all forms of media consumed by young people. Young people are being taught by example to hate and disrespect others who don’t agree with their view; but, young people actually physically confront/bully others. They haven’t the sense to stop at the ugly words of hate they hear from adults and media. Even being passengers in their parent’s cars, where a parent cusses and swears, perhaps also accompanied by an obscene gesture, when another driver makes a dumb move-that child present in the car is being taught intolerance and judgment with rage upon the other driver. Wake up, people! When seeds of hatred, intolerance and disrespect are sown, they poison all including themselves. Plant seeds of love, tolerance, respect for differences to REAP a better world where bullying is not even considered an option. Show by example tolerance for differences in opinion without condemnation and judgment! None of us is perfect-so stop hurling your angry and intolerant behavior into the world, as if it is beneficial to anyone. Thanks for reading this. I would really appreciate it if anyone can tell me anything beneficial from the judgments placed on others because we disagree. Don’t the judgments stop dialogue where the actual issue could be addressed with creative solutions or perhaps “agreeing to disagree”?🌏🙏😇
Month: October 2018
Mid-September to October 22, 2018
Been awhile since I’ve posted-time does seem to fly by! Visiting with cousins in PA & NJ, brother and sister-in-law in NY, friend and his girlfriend from CO who were visiting in NY, and friends Olga and Vicki in NY, too. Then received call from friend in MT needing my assistance and in MT now to assist her as she regains strength from hip replacement surgery.
What a treasure life is! To share company with cousin Val and her friend Glenn in adventures of daily life and special outings. Time with cousin Dorothy and her friend Geoff brought delicious meals, attendance at Antiques Road Show presentation, experiencing Dorothy’s pipe organist skills at church, attending 2 worship services on World Communion Day (which meant for the first time in my life I had 2 communions on the same day), having Italian food at Mia’s and David’s first home. Lots of love and laughter shared-fun!
Before leaving PA on Friday, 10/12, to Taj Mahal for lunch with Val and Glenn-thanks for the fun times! Arrived in MT on 10/16 having enjoyed the drive and views in PA, OH, IN, WS, snow through MN which was really quite beautiful, ND with a low is 18 degrees, and through the beauty in MT.
