Just enjoying the visit with Toni, and, of course, the Hot Springs which were very hot yesterday! The doe and fawn make regular appearances in Toni’s yard. We saw a wildcat just once in Toni’s yard and he hasn’t come back yet. A young grasshopper caught my attention, also. And, a magpie left me a feather. At the library with Wi-Fi, so will post this today! I’m so excited to get a copy of Rural New Yorker on Interlibrary loan from 12/21/1957 in which Toni is on the cover! Library says it may take up to a week. Went to National Bison Range to see bison, elk, deer, and momma bear with 3 cubs, all with stunning background views, especially of Glacial Lake Missoula. One of the young workers at the Visitors Center graduated from Washingtonville High School, mine and my children’s Alma Mater-crazy! When the rest room was out of toilet paper, I joked with the Amish gals waiting that it would be a drip-dry experience! And while walking Bitterroot trail with expansive views, amazingly my phone rang! My son called to FaceTime with cutie-pie, granddaughter Cozy who’s now a little more than four months young. I’ve driven to Missoula twice and enjoy driving through Flathead Reservation. Earlier, Toni and I enjoyed the Hot Springs Museum. Life is good and I am thankful each day for the gift of life!
