Each one of us creates heaven on earth for ourselves and others in our thought life and in our actions.
When I was around 10 or 11 years of age, I was given three carved monkeys that represented, “hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil”. One morning in AZ, I saw 3 birds sitting atop a street light. For some reason, the thought of my three carved monkeys came to mind. Along with it came the idea that in thinking and expressing our emotions, we get to choose what we do with them. If it is true, and I believe it to be so, that our thoughts and emotions are our creations then we get to choose what we create! We can choose to create beneficial or detrimental thoughts and emotions when we correct our processing of the transaction within us. Thus, I add the expression, “think no evil” to the messages of my three monkeys. I believe that in thinking no evil then seeing, hearing, and speaking no evil might naturally follow.
